It's Fall...And Freezing!

Hi Everyone!
So sorry for the delay in posts, but my life is now pretty crazy, busier than I think last year was when I was teaching preschool kids even, and man that was busy, arts and crafts all the time! aww I miss that...
Here's whats going on so far, and what you've all missed out on in the last month. I went to a Jack O' Lantern Festival...thats right, take that Knotts scary farm! POW!  Yea, it was pretty cool, there were over 5,000 carved pumpkins around this giant Manor in Sleepy Hollow country, they were carved as pats, skeletons, mummy looking things, dragons, dinosaurs, snakes, clowns, pirates, spiders and their webs, all sorts of designs. I went with some of my new (awesome btw) friends from school and had a great time (albeit all the inappropriate language we used as we were surrounded by children, as Christine would say).
...side note, apparently my heater makes a screeching noise before it turns on and it just freaked me out, the sound came from the basement as I am sitting here typing away, scary!
I am now becoming closer to the friend that I am making and have come to the realization that we all want to run away back to our homes and continue the lives that we all put on hold to get our masters degree from this ole' prestigious college, eh, this semester is pretty hard.  But now we are heading towards the end of October, (shit, already! where'd that month go) meaning conferences papers are now important, and work is becoming somewhat easier. I speak more in class, and am even making some friends/aquaintances with undergrads...who would of ever thought! Buster and I are now "homies" to use Michael's word's  (haha) and Mattie at the moment is recovering from a cat fight, and bite mark on her tail! ouch!
I just got back from a visit home, which was awesome, I missed "home" a lot, just being able to drive around and not feel lost was invigorating! Seeing Blake, my family, and regular customer at Borders made me feel good, I missed both Lauren and Dina who were both sick-and I hope you two are feeling better, I'll be back in December and we are hanging out! But I have a purpose here, and I am almost half way done with the first year, and the leaves are all changing colors, and I have like 4-6 papers to write by next friday, and I'll get through it, and come back with my Masters and then Blake can finally move out of his parents house..haha
I wish you all could come and see how beautiful it is out here before the winter comes, its 51 degrees outside right now and its only going to get colder. Blake will be here in a month, then I will be home a month after that, finished with my first semester of graduate school! yikes! I cant believe its already here!

I hate those high-pitched noises that heaters make...I miss you a bunch! I was listening to Fleetwood Mac the other day and thought of you...
